Your exciting day begins at 6:45 am with a quick pick-up from your Puno hotel to Kayak dock. Here, guide is going to explain about elemental Kayak paddling. You then will be ready to escape into the nature kayaking at your own rhythm into the Floating islands of the Uros People through Titicaca landscapes.
Following that, you are welcomed by locals who invite us to their island to their homes. Where, your guide explains about their history, traditions, daily life activities and more importantly how the islands are built. Free time to visit inside their reed houses, wear typical cloths for pictures, and time for shopping reed made souvenirs.
As an extra relaxing trip you may ride on top of a typical reed boat “balsa” while it’s crossing the Uros Lake to the next Uros floating Island (optional).
Finally, on this second Uros island you take the tourist motor boat that comes from the main Puno port, so you join to Full-Day Group Tour of Uros and Taquile Islands. This Kayaking to Uros and then connection to Taquile by regular motor boat is arranged in a form that you don’t miss the visit of the natural island of Taquile, located 34 km away from main Puno Port.
On arrival at Taquile Island, you walk up to the summit for approximately 35 minutes on your pace.
