One of our favorite tours in Peru My wife and I did the Uros Aruma Uro Homestay + Kayaking tour while in Puno and we thought it was fantastic. Eddie, the owner of Andean Ways met us at our hotel the night before to explain everything and set our pick up time the next morning. Arriving at the launch we found Eddie waiting with new kayaks, life jackets and drinking water. The paddle out to Uros Aruma Uro through a reed maze full of birds was great. Eddie let us set the pace and he gave us so much information about the local history. His path took us to some very secluded and quite places, like we were the only ones on the lake. After arriving to the island, Eddie introduced us to Juan and Elsa, the family that live there, and spent some time explaining even more history of the Uros people. Eddie left for the night but we had arranged a fast boat tour for the next day through him so he meet us early the next morning to take us to the docks and walked us to our fast boat tour. He also met us in the afternoon to take us back to our hotel. Eddie is a fantastic guide but more important a terrific person. He made sure we were taken care of at every turn and went out of his way to assure we had a great time. We highly recommend Andean Ways and Eddie and wish him and his company all the best in the future.

Thanks Eddie for a assume couple of days!
