We’re cycling to Llachon for about 3 hours, on arrival have lunch, then after hiking up to lookout and overnight. Next day, you’ll kayak from Llachon to Amantani, have lunch and navigate to Uros by boat for a last paddle back to Puno.

What you’ll do on Lake Titicaca 2 Day Bike Kayak Tour (Tour Itinerary)
8:30 am Pick-up from your hotel in Puno city or from any Uros floating lodge (from Kalapajra pier). The driver and your bike guide come to your hotel bringing the mountain cycling equipment and gear.
9:10 am Arrival to Huata, the beginning of the paved road to Llachon, situated on the main road from Puno to Juliaca airport. On arrival quick instructions and lesson about how to ride behind your guide (he’ll act as your domestique).
9:30 am After a brief introduction of what you’ll do during this special day, you start pedaling. First 3 kilometers will be to warm up and find your rhythm. Let your guide pedal in front of you then you will save more energy to get until the finish line (Llachon).
On the way you’ll take in sight some local farm houses, animals, crop fields and after pedaling almost 2 hours we are going to reach the shore of Lake Titicaca.
First break will be at Coata community and the second break is at Capachica town.
After the last break you’ll keep cycling at your own pace following your guide. A long the way to Llachon road condition is really good and you’ll face up and down hills.
If you consider cycling + 20 km is too much then your biking experience can start from Capachica to Llachon. It is situated 1 hour and 20 minutes by bike and is the best part of the ride.
12.30 pm At this time you and your guide will be approaching the finish line, your last effort. Then after we head to Valentin’s or Calixto’s house for a well-deserved rehydrating drink, recovering rest and typical lunch based on Lake Titicaca trout.
There will be plenty of time to explore the place and meet the local people. You’ll learn about their textiles and herb uses. You’ll even have time to visit the highest point (lookout). From here you’ll see far away the Bolivian snowy peaks and Islands.
On the way to Taquile Island, paddle from Puno to Uros, then from Llachon to Taquile Island covering about 15 km in total, have lunch in Taquile and finally return by boa to Uros or Puno port.
6:30 pm Dinner and overnight at local family lodging house.
Day 2: Kayak from Llachon to Amantani
9:00 am After breakfast, we’ll walk down to port and get ready for paddling towards Amantani Island.
9:30 am departure by kayak to Amantani, on the way observe pre-Incan terracing and lake shoreline. Kayaking in the vastness of the Lake is simply amazing.
11:30 am arrival to Amantani and welcome by Henry, a local Islander, he’ll take us to his house for lunch. We’ll know more about their tradition and art textile.
1:30 pm boat departure from Amantani to Uros reed floating Islands,.
4:30 pm You can opt to go paddling through unique reed marshes landscape or arrive to Puno main port by motor boat.
