We are going to visit Uros Islands on Lake Titicaca by motor boat from Puno and live unique experience by taking part of their daily basis.
Lake Titicaca Floating Islands is designed to live pretty much the Uros people have lived for centuries.
On arrival to Lake Titicaca Floating Village we are going to ride a traditional reed raft, a local man is taking us close to marshes of reed or Totora. Here our friendly floating island builder is going to teach us how they cut the reeds from a reed Balsa, what are their uses, local legends and much more. We’ll get the opportunity to try it out.
We won’t do that others do sitting around the islands and listen to the guide then after buy souvenirs, Lake Titicaca Floating Islands is all about skipping the touristy tour of Uros reed floating man-made, so this way you are going to gain unique experience and get great, wonderful and live memories from Uros Islands facts.
