Day 1: La Paz to Puno Bus Ride via Copacabana
7:00 am pick-up from you hotel in La Paz and drive to bus station. We are going to travel from La Paz to Copacabana by a Bolivian bus company that takes 3h 30 min to get to Copacabana because it has to cross by ferry the strait of Tiquina.
11:00 am according to the bus company used, you may switch of buses or keep traveling by the very same bus to Puno. If not, the new bus ticket is included.
You drive for 20 min from Copacabana to Kasani border where you check in and out for the exit and entry stamps on your passport, while this takes place the bus awaits for everyone.
4:00 pm Finally after another 3 hours driving from Kasani, you get to Puno Terminal Terrestre where our driver awaits for you for a quick transfer to Kalapajra port to take the small engine boat to go to Uros floating lodge.
Day 2: Uros reed boat ride to do local activities
9:00 am after breakfast you’ll go by a reed craft to explore nearby and surroundings accompanied by your English speaking guide and a local boatman.
Here is where we learn how precisely reeds are cut and the way they transport, you’ll learn about their origin and the reason of being Aymaran speaking community.
10:30 am finally you are transferred from Uros to Kalapajra pier and then by car to center or bus terminal.
