Living on Lake Titicaca combines perfectly kayak adventure on the highest navigable lake in the world and homestay experience on one of the Uros Titicaca reed floating islands lodge.
Basically we are kayaking from Puno to Uros through beautiful landscape, typical flora and fauna. On arrival to Lake Titicaca Floating Village we’ll have lunch, rest and in the afternoon do local activities such as cutting reeds from a typical reed raft. We’ll learn from the Uros people how the islands are constructed with reed’s mud root and fresh green Totora after being harvested for couple of weeks on the vastness of the Lake.
