What You’ll Do
You’ll be picked up at your hotel by our team and driven to the salt flats.
You’ll have the chance to watch the starts and constellations. Then after enjoy the view of the sun rising over the salt flats. Later, you’ll be dropped at your hotel.
Your Tour Itinerary
3:30 am – Uyuni town to the Salt Flats car transfer
This adventure begins early in the morning 2 hours and a half before the sunrise time. You’ll be picked up at your selected hotel in downtown Uyuni by our team and get transferred to the salt flats.
You’ll drive for more than 70 minutes by a private 4x4WD vehicle. You’ll enter the more than 10,000 square kilometers that form the Salar de Uyuni and cross its famous Salt Eyes under the stars.
Your guide and driver will look for panoramas where you feel unique on the planet, the perfect place to appreciate 360-degree views.
3:30 am – Uyuni Sunrise time
Finally, the most awaited moment will be happening: the sun rising over the Uyuni Salt Flats as the sun begins to appear behind the horizon let your guide take you the best shots and pics. Admire the stunning views of the Salar de Uyuni as you witness the sun slowly rising over its vast landscape.
During the rainy season/weather (from December to March), we’ll provide gum boots. You will wear them to be able to explore the salt flats.
The morning in the Uyuni Salt Flats will come to an end, but not before a good hot tea of the area. The guide will prepare this delicious and hot drink right there so that you can enjoy it in front of a dreamlike view.
After warming up and finishing the breakfast, you’ll get back into the 4x4WD and return to Uyuni town.
