LA PAZ TO PUMA PUNKU
You’ll drive directly to Puma Punku through the El Alto town, popular by its terrible traffic jam and chaotic crowded streets.
If your hotel is located in Zona Sur Calacoto (Mitru Express, Rosario Sur, Atix, etc) there is an extra drive time of 20 minutes up to 30 minutes.
On arrival at the archaeological site of Puma Punku and Tiwanaku you have to purchase your entry tickets and there is the option to hire a Spanish speaking local guide (for extra cost).
With your ticket you’ll visit on your own way the Temple of Kalasasaya, Underground temple, Akhapana pyramid, lithic and ceramic museums and Puma Punku.
Following your trip, you can decide to have lunch at the restaurant before returning to La Paz.
