Sillustani Funeral Tower Tour begins with the pick-up by your guide and driver at your hotel in Puno city. Then you’ll head to the peninsula of Sillustani on the way to Juliaca airport.
On arrival you’ll walk uphill and explore the pre-Incan and Incan tower structures facing the Umayu lagoon. On the way back stop at a local farm house for Alpaca and Llama pictures.

In the ancient time before the Inca Empire arrival, the Aymara Kingdome Colla flourished in this land that had especial beliefs in the afterlife. Discover the impressive difference between these two different building techniques.

On arrival at the site, you’ll hike through the ancient trail, along the way you’ll find several towers commonly named “Chullpas” which were used as tombs surrounded by the Lagoon Umayu.
Inside were buried the Mallku, the king of Colla culture, one of the Aymara Kingdoms that ruled after Tiwanaku civilization. Later, gain a stunning view of the Umayu lagoon from its top location.
Following your Sillustani guided tour, visit a farmhouse on the way back to Puno. Take a moment to visit inside the yard and take a pic with the cute Alpacas and Llamas.
