What You’ll Do
You’ll be picked up at your hotel in Puno and transferred to Juliacaairport on a private vehicle with a guided visit to the archaeological site of Sillustani, popular by its tower like-structures tombs. Your guide walks you through the ancient trail, leading you to the top place from where you’ll appreciate the beauty of the Umayu lagoon. Later you’ll be dropped at the Juliaca airport.

Your friendly tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Puno city then head to the Juliaca Manco Capac Airport. But along the way your private driver will take you to Sillustani through a paved road on a 45-minute drive.
On arrival at the Sillustani peninsula, the land of the Colla Kingdome, you’ll hike through the ancient trail and sacred grounds carefully chosen for their spiritual significance.
Along the route you’ll find several towers locally named as “Chullpas” which were used as tombs, inside were buried the Mallku, the king of Colla Kingdome that flourished before the Inca Empire arrival and had especial beliefs in the afterlife.
The panoramic views of the Andean mountains, the mystery of the ancient resting place and the serene Umayo Lagoon all together combined will leave you in awe.
Following your Sillustani guided tour, visit a farmhouse on the way to Juliaca airport. Take a moment to visit inside the yard and take pictures with the cute Alpacas and Llamas.
After 3 hours your tour has started, you’ll be dropped at the Juliaca airport (2 hours before your flight departure).
