What You’ll Do
You’ll be transferred from Puno to Amantani on a private motor boat, have lunch and paddle at the Island of Amantani before the sun is gone.
After an early breakfast you’ll be heading back to Puno but on the way stop at Uros for a last kayaking towards Isla Esteves.
Your Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Puno to Amantani
10:00 am – Boat ride from Puno

Your friendly driver will pick you up from your hotel and head to Puno port on a 15-minute drive.
Meet your guide at the Uros floating Island where the kayak equipment will be loaded on the boat roof.
You’ll be navigating on the endless blue horizon of Lake Titicaca passing through the peninsula of Chucuito and Capachica.
1:00 pm – Hiking Amantani Island
On arrival at the Amantani Island local port, you’ll hike up to the local house where you’ll stay the night.
Have lunch prepared by the host family. Later, you’ll walk down to the port to get in the kayak and paddle on the highest navigable lake in the world, and best of all at the time the sun is setting over the peninsula of Capachica and the Lake.
After this unique experience you’ll go back to the house. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Amantani to Puno
8:00 am – Boat ride from Amantani to Uros Islands

After an early breakfast, you’ll walk down to the port and onboard the motor boat to return to Puno, but along the way you’ll stop at the floating Islands of Uros a final paddle back to the Isla Esteves.
Your English speaking tour guide will provide clue information about the history of the most incredible population living on reed houses. This is the moment when you clearly learn about the process of building their homes out of the natural sources: reeds and roots.
Finally, get back to Isla Esteves through the main water channel on a 40 minute kayaking.
Upon arrival at the kayak dock, you’ll be picked up by your driver and transferred to your hotel.
