What You’ll Do
Your Lake Titicaca Tours from Copacabana begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Copacabana, Bolivia and 3 hour car ride to Puno city through Kasani border.
On arrival, meet your guide and navigate to the set of floating Islands of Uros to explore their amazing way of life. In the afternoon you’ll be dropped at your hotel in Puno.
Your Tour Itinerary
8:30 am (Bolivian time) – Copacabana Bolivia to Puno port private transfer

At the scheduled time, you’ll be picked up at your hotel in Copacabana by one of our Bolivian drivers (Denis, Vicente or Abel) and transferred to Kasani border on a 15-minute drive.
Your Bolivian driver will assist you on crossing the border. The border crossing usually takes from 20 minutes up to 60 minutes. Your Bolivian driver introduces you to your new Peruvian driver.
8:00 am (Peruvian time) – Kasani to Puno car transfer
Your new friendly Peruvian driver will pick you up in front of the Kasani immigration office and head to Puno city on a 2-hour 30-minute drive by a private comfortable vehicle with optional stop at Aramu Muru doorway.
10:30 am (Peruvian time) – Navigating on the highest navigable Lake in the world

On arrival at the Puno port, you’ll meet your private English speaking tour guide. Then onboard a private covered section motor boat to navigate to the Uros reed floating Islands for about 30 minutes.
The floating Islands of Uros people on Lake Titicaca are an ancient art engineering dating back from before the Incas, located 4 km away from Puno city, on the way your guide delivers some clue information about Lake Titicaca facts and the history of the pre-Columbian civilizations.
Upon arrival at the floating Islands, you’ll disembark at one of the local family’s reed house. The friendly family will perform how the Islands are built just using Totora reed and root. Later walk inside their reed house and get some reed souvenirs shopping opportunity.
As a complimentary activity, if you’d like to contribute to the family, you could ride a typical reed boat among the other Islands, a gorgeous scenery and landscape.
Following the local activity, you’ll navigate through the set of almost 100 reed islands by motorboat.
A long the way to the port, you’ll make an optional stop at the “commercial Capital” Island to get stamped on our passports the map of the lake for S/ 1 PEN.
By the afternoon you’ll be on your way back to Puno port and transferred to your selected hotel in Puno city.
