What You’ll Do
Day 1: You’ll be transferred from your hotel to Chivay on a 3 hour 30 minute car ride. You’ll stay the night in Colca Lodge. Day 2: You’ll see the majestic flight of the Condors over the Canyon. Later return to Chivay for lunch and head back to Arequipa or get dropped off in Chivay town (to continue to Puno).

Day 1: Arequipa to Colca Lodge
8:00 am – Arequipa to Yanque

Colca Canyon Two Day Tour is a private trip starting from Arequipa and ending in the same city, the next day. You basically drive from Arquipa to Yanque with some stops along the way (such as Patahuasi, Volcano viewpoint, and at nice places to see Llama, Alpaca herds) accompanied with an English-Spanish speaking tour guide.
On arrival to Yanque you’ll be dropped off at Colca Lodge hotel and later you’ll bath in the Hot spring water, relax and spend there for some hours, and finally in the late evening have dinner.
Day 2: Colca Canyon Tour + Condor flight

After an early breakfast, you’ll drive to Colca Valley with a series of stops on the way to Mirador Cruz del Condor (or simply on the way back after you’ve seen the majestic Condors, finger cross!).
On the return from Colca Valley Tour you’ll have lunch, there are several tourist restaurants in Chivay and in one of these you can have a buffet lunch.
After these two amazing days you have to finally go back to Arequipa city. However if you are planning to travel next to Puno for your Lake Titicaca Tour then save time and money booking in advance 4-M bus ride from Chivay to Puno with a series of stops along the way (for an extra cost, not included).
On the way back to Arequipa, you’ll stop at Patapampa, an incredible viewpoint where you will see the Ampato, Sabancaya and Hualca Hualca volcanoes side by side. This is also the highest point that you will reach at 4900 meters above sea level in Pampa Cañahuas.
17:30 pm – Arriving in Arequipa
You’ll arrive back to Arequipa and drop you off at your hotel door.
