What You’ll Do
You have to take a taxi from your downtown hotel to Isla Esteves launch place, on arrival meet our kayak team who gives you the equipment. You have to confirm the total time for the rental and the start time.

With Rental Kayak Puno option you create your own itinerary, decide the departure time and how long to paddle for your ideal kayak adventure out of the crowds on the highest navigable lake in the world.
When renting a kayak from Andean Ways, our kayak staff will deliver your equipment and gear to the kayak launching place to make your vacation as convenient and stress-free as possible. Best of all they are available at any hour of the day from 7:00 am up to 6:00 pm.
You just show up at the Isla Esteves kayak launching place (we’ll send you the link) at the requested time with previous pre-payment and confirmation. Get ready to hit the water with friends, family or alone.
Our kayaks are easy and safe for everyone to use, so you can feel comfortable on the water no matter your experience level.
We rent tandem sit-inside kayaks and a few single too. Our tandem sit-inside kayaks are stable, safe, and easy to paddle with a pedal steering system.
Kayaking to Uros Floating Islands
Your enthusiastic kayak staff will show you the way to get to the reed floating Islands.
After 45 minutes paddling, at the end of the waterway channel, you’ll arrive at the surreal floating village.
You could disembark on a local family’s Island and get a unique glimpse of the life style and learn about its innovative way of building their reed homes.
Finally, get in your kayak again and paddle back to the same launching place.
