Lake Titicaca 2 Day Tour takes you to Uros reed islands for a guided visit and learn from Uros people how exactly Lake Titicaca floating islands are constructed and maintained.
At Uros islands you are offered to ride a typical reed raft (extra cost of S/. 15 per person, optional).
On Lake Titicaca 2 Day Tour, after Uros visit, you’ll find yourself navigating to Amantani Island for a homestay experience and get a unique glimpse of Andean way of life and see closely their tradition and history.
Go to Uros islands by kayak then get to Amantani by boat. Day 2: after Taquile visit, we’ll do a final paddle from Uros back to Puno.
On Amantani Island you’ll be able to opt for a hiking or stay with the family or hang around. On the summit enjoy a beautiful Titicaca sunset over Capachica peninsula.
After dinner get dressed in colorful and traditional clothing to go dancing at Community house. Live music and fun.
Next day we’re traversing the Lake to get to Taquile Island. Taquile is considered as the men knitting Island. We’ll have lunch, learn about their finest art textile and after 3 hours of visit return to Puno city by motor boat.
