6:30 am pick-up from your hotel and drive to Yanico community on the Puno-Juliaca route (18 km)
Your passionate guide will provide some rich clue information about the local tradition and history of pre-Incan cultures in the basin of Lake Titicaca.
7:15 am arrival to the shore of the river and meet our local expert.
7:20 am Onboard his wooden boat following the water way doing strategic stops to watch the first birds on the shore and in the mainland.
In this area is rarely seen Titicaca grebe, an endemic bird to Peru and Bolivia High Plateau, and trying to find them will make your Titicaca birding tour very especial.
