This lagoon is surrounded by unparalleled landscapes and mountains. Around the lagoon you will see Llamas, Alpacas, and farmers still wearing their typical costumes.

What You’ll Do
The trip begins with a quick pick-up at your hotel in Ollantaytambo by your private vehicle and a direct scenic drive through diverse landscapes from lush greenery to rugged mountainous terrain.
Followed by a moderately challenging hike that will reward you with stunning panoramic views and the serene atmosphere and striking contrast between the Lake’s vibrant color and the surrounding peaks make this a must-see destination. Following that you’ll have lunch and driven back to Ollantaytambo.
Your Tour Itinerary
6:00 am – Cusco to Yanacancha private transfer
Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco after the breakfast then you’ll drive for about 3 hours to the Yanacancha village, on the way you’ll drive through Ocongate village, located 2 hours away from Cusco, you’ll appreciate the biodiversity of the area such as: typical alpacas and llamas of the area.
You will then arrive at Singrenacocha Lake, 30 minutes away from Ocongate town. In Yanacancha, a small community near the lake and Ausangate Mountain, you’ll start walking for about 10 minutes to the viewpoint of the beautiful lake.
You will have time to explore the area and take pictures. You will spend approximately 30 minutes. Then after, you will walk down to the lake where you’ll see trout farming and enjoy its magnificent color.
After exploring the lake you will come back to the private vehicle. You will drive to the village of Pampacancha where you’ll bath in the hot springs and have lunch in the same place.
By the late afternoon, you’ll make your way back to Cusco. You’ll arrive in Cusco at 05:00 pm roughly.
