What You’ll Do
You’ll be collected from your hotel in Arequipa and driven to the Arequipa valley.
Your guide delivers information about the petroglyphs of Toro Muerto. You’ll have time for lunch and return to Arequipa.
Your Tour Itinerary
7:30 am – Pick-up at your Hotel
You’ll be picked up from your hotel then transferred by a private vehicle to the Majes Valley.
You’ll cross the driest desert in the world where the white sand dunes stand out, on the reddish terrain of the desert.
You will then walk to one of the dunes, following that, you’ll appreciate a viewpoint of the entire valley of Majes and finally you go to the Toro Muerto’s repository (the largest in the world) and you begin the walk in the desert to visit the main petroglyphs for approximately 2 hours.
You’ll return to the private transport and head to Punta Colorada, where you’ll find restaurants that offer the most delicious and fresh shrimp based lunch and return to the city of Arequipa arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m.
