Uros Islands Afternoon Kayak Trip is an adventure at the sunset from 4 pm to 6 pm that includes pickup from hotel, English guide, tickets and return to hotel.
If you just have a few hours to visit Lake Titicaca upon your arrival from Cusco, Arequipa, Copacabana or La Paz by bus, in the late afternoon, then venture on a kayak adventure at Lake Titicaca’s most glorious time the sunset. Daily departures guaranteed with even one solo kayaker.

Kayaking at Uros
What You’ll Do
Transfer from your hotel or bus terminal to kayak dock. Glide your kayak through a stunning spots of Lake Titicaca National Reserve on a 40-minute paddling towards Uros Islands.
On arrival, learn from your guide about the process of building the islands. Head back to Puno city through the same water way. Get transferred back to your hotel or bus station.
Your Tour Itinerary
4:00 pm – Hotel or Bus Station pick-up

Wait for our driver at your address or bus station and get transferred to the starting place on a 15-minute car transfer. Our driver will keep your luggage if it is required while the tour takes place.
Your guide will be waiting for you with the fully equipped kayak. Previous kayak experience is not required. Get in your kayak and paddle to Uros islands.
You’ll paddle on calm and tranquil water and enjoy the beauty view of the area. The landscape is surrounded by reeds the material Uros population gets for making their floating homes.
5:00 pm – Enjoy the sun setting over Lake Titicaca
One of these families will give us a warm welcoming to their reed house (if time permiting). We’ll learn how long takes to finish it, why do they live and more.
So after the short explanation you have some extra time to encounter with the Islanders or just get in your kayak again and be ready to see the sunset over the Islands.
Then we’ll kayak back to the same departure point. Get the last views of the place by paddling slow.
Upon arrival the driver will transfer you to your hotel.
