As we only run quality small group kayaking to Uros floating Islands, the maximum number of participants is 7 during the high season (from May to October) but mostly delivered as a personal and private tour (for the same price).

Where you’ll kayak
We will kayak throughout the heart of the Puno sector Lake Titicaca National Reserve and Río Wily. This is a ideal location for the reed man-made floating islands and the habit of endemic and migrant birds.
Your Uros kayak adventure will begin and end from/to Uros Kalapajra pier (or besides Isla Esteves).
Your 3 hours Uros Kayak Lake Titicaca Tours will have us kayaking on calm and flat water at your own pace, enjoying the beauty of the area on our arrival disembarking on a reed home floating island to encounter with the Uros islands builders.

9:00 am meet up with our driver at your hotel and drive to kayak dock.
9:15 am On arrival at the kayak point, your guide provides basic paddling instructions.
9:25 am start kayaking to Uros through beautiful landscapes.
10:00 am arrival time at Uros floating Islands and information about Uros life, history and island buildings. You’ll have free time for exploring the island or riding reed boat (optional).
11:30 am departure time from Uros islands to Puno.
12:15 pm arrival time at the same launching place and transfer to hotels

9:00 am Hotel pick-up
Your adventurous Lake Titicaca day begins with the pick-up from your Puno hotel and transfer to kayak dock. Wait for your private driver (we’ll email you confirming his name the day before).
After a quick drive you’ll arrive at the Uros kayak launching place, if this is your first time, your English speaking kayak guide will get you prepared for the 3 hours ahead and fitted into your kayaks. You’ll get elemental kayak paddling instructions, techniques and more.
Then, you can feel confident, wear personal floatation device, enter in your kayak and begin paddling at your own rhythm without any pressure.

Kayak Titicaca Adventure takes you through unique Uros landscapes, a place where high plateau sky and lake can be one, blue water ways, green carpeted reeds and native birds living around in their natural habitat all this will amaze you, but mostly appreciated in rainy season (from January to April)
If you are looking for an authentic kayak experience on Lake Titicaca you might be interested in our early morning paddling that covers the most beautiful foreshore of Puno bay on the way to Uros islands when the sun rises.
10:00 am Arrival and Uros guided visit
After kayaking for almost one hour, we’ll step on a reed floating island, one of the
almost 100 floating islands on Lake Titicaca.

Your first impression will be how these magnificent islands would have been built?
But, there is no need to imagine!
Just let your guide explain you about their origin, history, how long they last, way of
life and more importantly how the islands are built.
You’ll have free time to explore the island and surroundings even for buying reed
souvenirs.
11:30 am return to Puno shore
Finally, after almost two hours on this Reed Island we’ll get back to same local port
by kayak. Get transferred to your hotels around 12:30 hrs.
